Default The Bobcats handle the T-Wolves

What is going on with the T-Wolves. I thought they were supposed to contend instead they lose to an expansion team. Speaking of dissapointments the Rockets are simply put awful. Its either an isolation play or some kind of helter skelter play. They have no movement on offense.

The Wolves are reaping the "rewards" of having Spreewell and Cassell on the same team. Neither player is happy and the team's chemistry is shot.

I wonder if they were pressing so hard for contracts because they knew how hard it would be to maintain last seasons level of play?

Well, what's worse is that Spree and Cassel are NOT playing that well now. Which team would want to those "OLD" players?

Wolves is in deep trouble now. No team (or very few) teams want Spree and Cassel. They are old and they cause chemistry problem.

Spree and Cassel gave their best last year...

i think jason kidd might be headed to minn for spree and cassell in a three or four team deal..

it would work out perfectly for the wolves

hudson gets more shots, wally can keep shooting as much as he wants too

i'm guessing the teams would be some mixture of:

atlanta(walker)
new jersey(kidd)
minn(sprewell and cassell)
new orleans(baron davis)

Yea to me it was clear Cassell and Spree overachieved last season. They were coming from losing situations and were hungry to win again. Cassell was IMO probably the best point guard in the league last year or atleast one of them. He and Spree knew they couldn't keep that play up for another season.

This is right on point...both knew that they were each on the downhill of their careers, yet they complained about not being paid their value going forward. Anyone want to chime in that Spree is worth the $15 million he is getting this year? At least Sam had somewhat of a legitimate argument that he was being underpaid last year due to his level of production.

Both posts are right on. They have no where to go but down. Minnie was so desperate to get out of the first round that they've basically consigned themselves to mediocrity until they blow it up again. They will almost have to either trade cassell/sprewell to someone who wants an expiring contract or just let them go.

They rag billups to death and he goes and wins a championship, good for him and minnie pretty much get's what they deserve in my book.
