TRADE ACCEPTED

mavs...
C- james / booth / nazr / pavel
PF- dirk / najera / benga
SF- finley / howard
SG- quis / stackhouse
PG- kidd / harris / stefansson

after this trade, we still have laettner and stack left to shop around.. this trade is can actually happen today.. the thing i like is that we have towering centers in jerome james, calvin booth, nazr mohammed and p-pod! plus devin harris can share playing minutes when kidd tires out or nellie just wants to keep him fresh for the playoffs..

seattle might ask for more so maybe new york and dallas could each throw in a first rounder to sweeten the deal...

thoughts?

NY and seattle definetly dont do it.

Nj probaly doesnt do it becasue they want to get rid of Zo

Dal doesnt have the roster space to keep 6 centers (you forgot to put collins in your lineup)

This deal doesnt make sense to all 4 teams

Dallas and New Jersey are the only ones that get more talented, but no team really does well at addressing needs. Seattle trades away their only center now that they already traded us Booth. They then have an extradeep PF position with KT, and an overpaid replacement who produces less in Houston.

Basically Arkuo needs to stop smoking the funky weed and trying to trade all our spares with long contracts for quality players.

BTW- we trade a 2, a 3, a 4 and a 5 for Kidd and three different Centers. We would then have

Collins, James, Mohammed, Booth, Laettner, Pavel, M'Benga

With a 15-man roster, we can't afford to fill half of them with centers.
