The Mavs will debunk the mythical myth that the Kings are a dangerous team in the playoffs. Mavs 105 Kings 90.

Stack and Artest get tied up. That might be interesting.

The Kings are still soft in the middle. The mavs take care of the lowly Kings. Damp has his best game of the year with 15 points 10 rebounds and 2 blocks.
Dirk chips in his typical 30 points and 15 rebound game.

Another MVP performance from Dirk. Mavs win convincingly, and the world keeps on spinning.

Dirk definitely needs to hone his skills tonight against a bullish small forward.

I honestly believe that Artest won't give Dirk any trouble whatsoever, or any smaller defender for that matter. Guys like Marion used to give him trouble, but these days Dirk can handle the likes of Marion, AK, and so on. The only one that's given him problems this season is Bowen, but I think that has much more to do with San Antonio's effective double teams than it does with Dirk not being able to handle a smaller, physical defender.

Josh Howard just had an Antoine Walker moment right there. The reason why Fatoine grabs so many offensive boards is because he misses so many easy ones around the hoop.

I would really love to see Dirk take it strong to the bucket and either draw some fouls or get some "5 footers."
Especially if he has Artest or Thomas on him.

Dampier and Powell finish around the hoop. DA hit a jumper early. Hopefully the "bench" will keep it up and score some points. The Mavs sure need that support. Been a long time since they've had some support off the bench scoring wise.
