What do the Mavs need?

But looking at the roster, I see two needs. First, be nice to have a backup PF. Not a stud, but a body that can defend and play a little.

how about Booth spending the few minutes that Dirk sits a game at the four? Think about it, he is tall, probably quick enough, great wingspan....he would be fine in for 10 min a game...not so much of a liability

Second, we need the second-coming of Steve Kerr: a clutch shooter that can come off the bench and hit the three-pointer consistently and play a little defense. How about Jon Barry? He isn't signed yet.

how about Dickau? I love the Barry idea...but why couldn't the young Dickau become that guy? he is a career 35% I bet that could go way up over a summer/preseason of practice

Call me crazy, but I'm happy with the roster we have now. Sure we need to free up one single spot but aside from that I think we're set for next season ;D
