Default Watch out Babe Ruth...here comes ARod!

Congrats to ARod for crushing his 40th homer of the year last night. He now has six consecutive 40 homer seasons. The record is 7 held by Babe Ruth. I'm guessing before all is said and done that the Babe will be a distant second.

BTW, ARod also reached the 100 RBI mark last night. What an amazingly talented baseball player.

A-rod is a great talent, too bad he is crippling the Rangers with his contract.

Rangers are lucky to have someone of the stature of A-ROD. But also watchout for Pujols. He has a good chance of doing the same.

It's a great mark to reach & I definitely believe he'll be passing Babe Ruth in 2 years. BTW, Raphael Palmiero hit #522 immediately following A-Rod, which means he passes Ted Williams and Willie McCovey for 13th on the all-time list. Teixiera also hit #20 last night, which I'm pretty sure puts him in the lead for rookie HRs this year.

As a side note, I'm kind of sad to see them send Nivar back down. He was fun to watch. Hopefully we'll see him again next year.

They sent Nivar down to participate in the AA playoffs.

Rangers look like they are improving... I hope A-ROD can carry this team to some what of a wild card chance this year.

I feel some spoiling coming around. The Rangers play basically the rest of the way against either contender or borderline teams.
