but, if i'm bringing up players that are my favorites that i never saw play... you'd have to throw in Rogers Hornsby, Ted Williams, Monte Irvine, anda few others anyone remember how much money sosa had to pay to get out of the beating his girlfriend with the wine bottle? |

i've taken players like sammy sosa and kirby puckett off of any lists i might have had..with sammy, it happened years ago with him beating his girlfriend with a wine bottle..with puckett, well, we all know the crap he's been through recently

I would agree with you about their off field problems. But I took this list as my favorite player on the teams to watch play.
I don't much care for Baseball like I did when I was a kid (as it was easily my favorite sport). I cannot stand the players gripes, especially when they take it to a strike. I have been getting back into it recently, but not to the extent of what it once was.

yes, he does have severe vision problems. i don't think it's near blindness..but it's definitely bad enough to where he can't see the rotation on the pitches like in days past
