Out of a timeout the best you get is a Marion 3? I'm out, my eyes are burning!
L and Philly next!

So who was playing in Collisons jersey in the first games? The ghost of Steve Nash?

Marion sometimes makes some of the worst passes in the NBA.

Why does it seem like every other team's PGs in the league can hit floaters except the Mavs?

I will not watch a game where our worst ball handler plays point. Marion should never drive the ball EVER. He's bringing it up the floor and getting it at the three point line every time

Not even 40 in the half?
On pace for 130-76.

Before the season I read that Collison's basket-IQ was supposed to be very high etc. Apparently some of those pre-season articles are just BS?

He should just roll with:
Jones/Jones/Crowder/Wright/James in the second half. Let them get experience.

I really hope something like this. Remember the Spurs doing it once last season and they made a huge comeback and Pop never let the first unit to play again in that game.

Seriously. Carter, Roddy and OJ can sub in.
Collison and Marion should be sent home. We'd be better of if both were DNPs.

Disappointing to say the least. Lakers are shooting almost 60% from the floor and 80% from three point range. They have 28 rebounds compared to 14 by dallas.
I want to see Sarge play in the second half, atleast he plays with intensity most of the time.

Can you get refunds on basketball games? If I was there, I'd probably ask for my money back and use the money to go to Perry's Steak

Sefant, if we had Dirk... I wouldn't. After all, he was a huge reason for the 29 point comeback against Minny. He also outscored Utah by himself in the 4th to win that game as well.
But yeah, you can probably start the PGT.

Really. Although Dirk is the greatest, I don't know how even he can make Collison look better. DC is the biggest problem out there. And the back-ups are very shaky.

This team has no heart. Guys should be fighting for rebounds. Instead they are content to just let the other team have them and jack up a 3 on the other end. We also have horrendous pg play which doesn't help. Collison and Dojo are not even back ups on most teams.

Dirk is great but he can't run point or grab 30 rebounds a game.

Fighting for rebounds? There are no rebounds to be had.... Btw, I guess Wright was a novelty act because after he scored the first like 6-8 points... he was not seen again.

That's generally the idea I get. If he can't make a simple pass without passing it to an opponent or causing a bumble down low, then he either needs to learn to pass or go.
Honestly, I hope that OJ moves to the point when Dirk gets back. We'll have way more balance and it'd solve a lot of our issues with PG play.

Offensive rebounds. We've had plenty of clankers off the rim. But yes defensive boards have been non existent when you let LA walk up and jack up uncontested shots.

Yeah, only a 2reb differential on offensive boards. They've only missed 18 shots all game. Dallas has missed 28.

2 minutes in and we are one away from the penalty. Lead is going to go well above 30 before it gets better.

In german soccer it happens from time to time that a team plays a terrible game on the road and then the players pay some busses for the next road game so the fans that spent time/money on the awful roadgame can travel for free...
Doesnt work so good in the NBA...too bad
