Luka will never be a complete player until he starts improving his FTs. Inexcusable for a non center to barely be above 70%.

THJ is the most inconsistent player ever living off the Clippers series WE FUCKING LOST.

We will never improve for real unless we get rid of Bull and THJ.

What should be our starting lineup has always been obvious to me:

Luka
Green
DFS
Wood
Maxi

give Luka maximum spacing and good defensive players while him and Wood eat on the P&R. The fact we are not spamming this action to death blows my mind. I'm not just pulling this out of my ass. Check for yourself, our most efficient lineups utilize some variant of this formula:

This is probably the most frustrating Mavs team I've ever seen and I've been watching since 88.

At least the years when the team was terrible they couldn't disappoint you.

I?d be all in on that trade. Worst case it fails and Westbrook is a free agent next year. Hello cap space (for the FO to likely fuck up, but you never know).

Did he intentionally design a play for the team to miss 14 fucking FT's?

Luka should be mad at himself because he put the team in that position by missing like 7 damn FT's himself

Too many of you guys are quick to blame rotations and coaching decisions and you totally neglect the fact that this team has choked away games literally by shooting poor FT's

KIdd didn't blow the defensive assignment on Lopez that was DFS and Maxi.

Hell DFS couldn't even deliver a inbounds pass properly that is not coaching that is a bunch of professional NBA players fucking up basic shit

-Not starting Wood when you decide THJ earned a start. (And still only playing him 23 minutes)
-Telling us we won't do to Hardy what we did with Green his rookie season.
-Telling us they practice FTS all the time, welp...
-Poor end game management, although that is more subjective but still an issue IMO.

Oh and that little golden goose locker room we had last season is gone. It's quite telling in

This game is 100% FTs

After last night we dropped from 28th to 29th in the league.

Lost the game by a single point in a game we shot 10-24 from the stripe. If we even make half our FTs we win

I?m mad at Kidd because it appears he is not capable of drawing up plays during timeouts. Everytime it seems Luka get the ball 5-8 ft behind the point line. Takes 1-2 dribbles, stepback, and launch a prayer

It's not just the 5 misses in a row. The team shot 41% for the entire game. I've never seen a team shoot that bad for an entire game. Maybe it's happened and I don't remember but either way it's bad.
