Getting " Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch" today. Studio Ghibli art and Joe Hisaishi music in an RPG.

Well, hopefully whoever received my package was kind enough to drop it off today so I can try this out...

Hearthstone is a pretty fun game and is free. You can play it on most tablets, a few smart phones, and computers.
It's basically Magic the Gathering but much more intuitive. The game does all of the thinking for you and is very addictive. Also a great time killer if you're sitting at the dr. or airport.

Been playing the heck out of it. Definitely frustrating to start, but it's really not pay to win. Paying money just speeds up the acquisition of cards, allowing more strategies. Super addictive-- particularly now that it's on iphone.

Yeah, my friend is like a pro because he has collected so many cards. I usually just play against the AI since people take too long with their turn. My heroes of choice are Warlock, Hunter, and Warrior.

I've been meaning to check out hearthstone. Use to play MTG. And Blizzard makes great games.
Been playing Diablo 3 and it's a lot of fun.

Been splitting my summer between Hearthstone and MGSV and Witcher
Constructed Hearthstone I've gotten a bit burned out on, but I still love the weekly tavern brawls.
Witcher is incredibly engrossing and big-- just so much to do. The side quests are all unique and well-crafted. They beat a lot of the main content in other games-- heck, the side quests are better than Witcher's own mediocre main story quests.
MGS5- gorgeous and really slick/silly stealth. Really fun to just drop in, stealth into a military camp by duck-walking around in a box, then jumping out, tranqing soldiers, and then hooking them up to a balloon to be captured by a waiting plane. Just fun. I can't wait until D-Dog is old enough to be my new companion.

I have tried V. 3 , but it runs rather choppy. Do you think a G100 grafic device is too small for it ?

OK, it should still be considered very early stage of development, but I've had a chance to play with VR using the HTC Vive. It's pretty amazing to say the very least. I tried it with all different age groups and both guys and girls, and they all loved it. Obviously the guys want to get a full blown system right away. But even the teen-age girls and adult women were getting into it.
VR is going to be the next killer app or you could say, the next generations iPhone.

I play Hearthstone, because it doesn’t require the twitch reflexes I seem to have lost. I’ve been trying Cuphead, but I suck.

LOL, no -- those were 92bDad tags from way, way back... He earned the nickname "fluffy" because he posted nothing but fluff.

Been getting back into XCOM 2, downloaded the Long War mod and it's a whole new game now.

Still haven't played XCOM 2 or Civ 6, but those games are my jam. Bought XCOM 2 on PS4 but never played it. Civ 6 has a cyber monday deal for $30 and I may have to bite.
Right now just playing Mario and Skyrim on Switch. Two great games and absolutely adore the Switch.

LOL, XCOM and Civ are my two favorite time-killers, although I still haven't played Civ6 either. Just seems like there isn't enough variation between each new version to justify paying full price -- I usually wait until they drop the price on a bundle that includes all the expansions... Hell, I still prefer Civ3 above all others just because it had the best mods (Escape from Zombie Island 2 is still my favorite mod in any game ever).

Hard to believe that Xcom and Warcraft came out the same year in 1994.

True, but it kinda sucked until XCOM: Enemy Unknown rebooted the franchise in 2012 (whereas Warcraft was always solid).

Ah yes forgot about 92Dad. I have also logged way to many hours playing Civ 3,4,5. I have 6 but I haven’t really gotten into it as much, yet. 4 and 5 didn’t really hit thier strides until a few expansions and patches had gone into it, and I assume that 6 will eventually grab me after it’s been fine tuned.

I just finished the new God of War game. What a fantastic single-player experience. I only wish I could have played this game on my PC. They really knocked it out of the park.

2020 check. What are you playing? If anyone is still playing. For me it's just NBA 2K20 at the moment nothing else. Don't have time for something I need to invest time in. Plus a lot has changed since this thread was put up. Now I've got two kids and they're the ones hogging up the controllers most of the time lol

I've been "video game lazy" lately, I haven't been lazy because I've been going to the gym every single day for 25 days in a row. But just video game lazy. Just can't get into any games lately.

Green Day pack is solid. Love the workout of it.
Got a cheap PS4 with a PSVR and it's my favorite workout now.
