Can I get some sleep before a trade goes down?
I guess TPE + Bynum to Orl for Howard and Hedo?

This guy is a game changer.
I f*cking love our front office.
This trade exception probably lets LA get Dwight, but I don't care. That's how good I think LO is. Another one of those guys (like Ty) that proved his worth on team-USA

I typed this in the other thread and it fits here obviously. Lamar Odom is one of the most versatile players in all of basketball. To get him for such a trade exception is absolutely amazing. I love this.
His versatility will allow him to do so much for this team.

I've come to the conclusion that Cuban is a genius. He has played this accelerated free agency like a master chess player. He is putting us in major position to compete next year, and we're going to be massive players next summer for Chris Paul and Deron Williams.

The team contract status wise is similar to the Heat in 2010. Only Dirk, Brewer, Haywood, and Marion are under contract next year and you can use the amnesty clause on Marion or Haywood. Roddy, Dojo, Rudy, and Odom are team options. Kidd, Terry, Wright, and Carter? would expire after this year.

Kidd, Rudy, Odom, Dirk, Haywood.
Terry and Marion off the bench?

Vince Carter in there somewhere too.
Roddy as backup PG, and Brewer filling in gaps.

I'm confused. He can't play at the end of games unless shawn sits. I'm hoping there is more to it because I don't see how the pieces fit.

Do you mean why am I afraid that he will play center at the end? Because he will be a short non-shot blocking, non rebounding center. It will be like when we had killer playing center... Now I liked me some killer, but as a center he stunk it up and so will odom.

Wow this team is shaping up pretty well! Lakers pretty much had to get rid of Odom, dude was crushed.
Don't know why you'd make the team that beat your tail up and down the court better though. I don't think they'll get D12 either.

Would have preferred to keep Chandler, but I understand if Odom can be cleared off the books next year. Odom should have something to prove as well. Let's hope Haywood can step up.

afriad? LO can play center against about 25 centers in the league.
As for Dwight as much as I hate to say it as a Mavs fan him going to LA is great for us, because it helps our chances with Deron a ton.

This is my original reaction but then I started thinking that this might be Cuban trying to put a package together for Paul and then I had this reaction:
Quick someone knock me back to Earth!!
