Garnett
Did anyone see the interview with Keven Garnett tonight? He looked heart broken and looked as if he was about to cry before he told them to cut the cameras.

Pretty funny...KG is so damned dramatic...
..."I'm losing"....you're lost your whole career, you should be used to it ***shrugs shoulders***

RE:Garnett
He looked like a bald Shenaynay Jenkins there at the end of the interview, pointing that finger at the camera.
Super ball player (not as good as Dirk this year), but emotionally and intellectually, he's back there a'piece.

Genius. I love that show.
Oh yeah, I second what Murph said. I've not seen one interview in KG's career where he didn't sound stupid. Especially last year's interview in the Denver series.

He's a cry-baby not too far off C-Webb. I mean, to cry on TV while getting paid $20m/yr... come on, he gotta' smile when no one's lookin'.
What a loser?!

RE:Garnett
Over-dramatic. KG should audition for soaps when his playing days are over. He and Kobe can be starred opposite of each other.

RE: Garnett
I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking that was just about the corniest thing I have ever seen in my life. "I'm losing man!" followed by raising his index finger about twelve times in each direction then giving a thumbs up. Downright retarded............ great TV!

RE:Garnett
Corny? maybe, but sincere? anbsolutely. In an era when most superstar athletes become complacent with losing as long as they get their paychecks, this is a man that actually wants to win, wants to win really really bad and you ridicule him for being over the top. If you ask me, over the top is nice for a change, most of them seem like they could care less.

RE: Garnett
He oversold it IMO. Though I don't question his love for the game, I think he tries too hard to show it, which may cause some to question the legitimacy of his "intensity."

If he's sincere about winning, he wouldn't go punch the rookie that beat him off-the-dribble in the pre-season.
He's a great talent but a poor character!

RE: Garnett
I don't feel sorry for him. Perhaps it's because he's been a punk his whole career. He says crap like the Black Angel comment earlier this year. Or the GWB needs to send reinforcements comment last year. Or the going to war comment last year.
Had Tim Duncan been the one doing it, I'd feel sorry for him, because Duncan has always been a class act. One day KG might be one. But I personally don't think so. He's urban trash that has a lot of money.

RE:Garnett
The interview is just weird...some of the stuff he says doesn't even make any sense
I don't think we'll ever see Dirk crying if the mavs aren't playing well
This is reminiscent of the Kobe thing two years ago..They got their asses handed to them by the spurs and he was crying on the sidelines..
give me a break
As i said earlier, this "over the edge" junk is annoying..

RE:Garnett
Say what you will.. but if this was Dirk crying and it was last year's awful team, you'd all be praising him for being so passionate..
It's refreshing to see a player that is so motivated to win.. glad to see him getting ridiculed for being a passionate player.

On the contrary, the media would be projecting Dirk as a soft guy if he was crying.

RE:Garnett
We'd probably see Dirk get pissed off and attempt to take his game to a higher level if the Mavs were struggled..or if the Mavs were riddled with injury. Hey, isn't that what Dirk's done this year? The Mavs have been hammered with injuries and Dirk has taken his game to a new level?
As for KG's sincerity...not a chance in Hell. It's all about the image.

RE:Garnett
What player LIKES losing? No one likes being a loser, it's ridiculous.
"That's why KG is so incredible, because he hates losing, all hail KG."
Garnett's a great player, don't get me wrong. But he's great because he's talented. Everybody has drive to win or else they wouldn't be in the league.
It was really one of the worst interviews I've ever seen.

I'd prefer to not. "Inside the NBA" has more coverage of how fat Charles is than basketball.
Many complaints have been sent their way.
