There is alot of talk on Rashard Lewis and how he there is a possibility of him signing. But lets say this plan falls through and decides to resign with Sonics? We still have our exception oru there do we go after Lee Nailon or Matt Harpring or even Byron Russell? My fav is Lee Nailon being that I saw him at TCU and come up and be the player he is now. I love Harprings play and he also wouldnt be a bad acquistion but from what I hear he is set on signing with the Bulls. Byron Russell had a horrible season last season but still did a good job defending his opponents. I dont know if his game is declining or maybe he was nagging form a injury. I say go after Nailon and maybe having him split the exception with another player in the free agency? Maybe not possible but who knows.

Nailon should sign with the Knicks, Portland or the Clippers. He would be more in his element with those teams. He would have someone to pass to.

Of the guys you mention, I prefer Russell. He would get more open shots with the Mavs than he did with the Jazz. He can play defense, also, and that may come in handy for yourdallasmavericks.

I say leave them both alone and go with Sabonis. He is a proven good passing center in this league. As you saw with Sac. this past year, that is a big help. We hae TWA and Griffen and Newman I guess, we are alright at the SF for right now. Trade Bradley and Esch, bring in Sabonis and resign Wang and Eddie. Done with the offseason.

He already said he is not willing to come back for the exception which is all we can give him.

Newman is gone. Griffin and TAW have injury history. Our weakest position is SF, so I disagree.

Gee...that's not a tall order or anything. Trading Bradley and Esch is easier said than done because you actualy need to have a team that wants to give up something for them. Wang and Eddie will probably get re-signed but that is far from a sucessful offseason if that is all that happens.

If Sabonis will not come for the exception then how it is possible for him to come back to the NBA? I mean if im correct there are only like 3 or 4 teams who arent over the cap and those teams are either filled at center or are a cheap team.

I believe that Portland still has his bird rights - they should be able to offer him any contract they want.
