Default Gonzalez a Ranger.... STILL

He has officially rejected the trade offer. He will remain a Ranger.

Just heard it on the Ticket. Rangers are paying for the mistakes they have done in the past (no-trade clause). They did not anything back for Kenny Rogers last year and will not get anything for Juan.

The prospects weren't even A level. If Juan left who , would take his place? Lance Nix the guy still isn't ready? Id rather drop spare pitchers John Thompson, and Ismail Valdez. I can't wait to see more of Mario Ramos and Tony Mounce.

well, how would we know if Nix is ready?

I wouldn't be surprised if Tex would have got some time in the outfield if juan would have accepted the trade..

I hope the Rangers bury his ass on the bench and let the young guys play anyways.

I do think not all the blame should go to Gonzalez. The way all this was handled was absolutely pathetic. Juan was not aware of this trade until he heard from the media.

Montreal is p!ssed of at rangers organization for handling this in the least professional way. I think 80% of the blame should go to John Hart. Also I feel really bad that A-Rod is wasting his prime years at Rangers organization.

Ludwick is more than ready to take his place, and is playing the outfield 5 out of 7 games on avg. Bring him up, and promote Nix or Nivar to AAA. Ramon is the kid I'm most excited for, b/c all indications are that he's taking to CF quite nicely. Going to frisco soon to see for myself.

The few games ludwick has played last season, he has shown some potential to be pretty good. I did not understand why he was sent to AAA. Has Ludwick recovered fully from his injury?

Agree 100% Crippler.

mff- the Rangers sent him down so that he could play every day. He wasn't going to get that commitment in the show. Otherwise he would have been there. Showalter called Ludwick the hardest cut of his career.
