Losing Butler may mean that TWolves are out of playoff race, but really, they are not going to see any better offers than that. Maybe they could use '19 pick to also unload some salary. I'm sure the coach Tom wants to keep Butler, but they won't contend for a championship, so logical reason would be to take those picks. Difficult to imagine CP3 will play a lot the last 2 years of his contract.

Of course there is a risk that somehow Houston will manage to slip in to the playoffs all years simply thanks to Butler and Harden, but the West is loaded... If Houston was playing in the East, then this is so-so (would still be the best trade out there, only with less value).
