Obviously... Nice bounce-back, I like the way the Lakers flipped that switch (oh, wait...)

Lakers fan here
Whatever the outcome is, please do me a FAVORS and win the dam championship. Dirk and Kidd deserve a championship. The only Mavs I don't like is Terry but I'm sure you guys don't like him either.
Congrats on both win! You guys deserve it more. I'm not good with Mavs history but have you guys ever won a championship?
Though I fear if you face the Miami cheat in the Final, you will lose....Lakers would too.

Apparently the literacy of a Lakers fan is on par with kenny and charles'.
As for this series...the only thing a Laker (series) win after being down 2-0 would be at this point is just extremely typical of Mavericks basketball and no one SHOULD be surprised.
It's on the Mavs to make sure that doesn't happen. The desperation level for them should be even higher next game. One bad game is all it would take to unravel against this team. This thing sits upon the edge of a knife right now and it's still the Mavs who have something to prove. Weird up 2-0, but that's the way it is.

"Typical Mavericks basketball"? That's exceedingly pessimistic, even for you.
I agree with the overall message, though. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. But I would also encourage everyone to enjoy this.

Sounds a bit more like typical Flacolaco than typical Mavericks basketball.

He has a point with that last statement though, I don't think the Lakers will survive if they lose both games in Dallas.

You think Buss would implode the team and make changes in the off season? Was just curious what you meant with your statement.

Sorry, I'm just saying that's likely the case. Dude needs to go thru a bunch of scenarios where things don't go his way and he has success solving the problem passively, calmly and without anger/violence, otherwise his life after bball is really gonna be a sad story.

The Mavs need to stay on their toes. Examining the box score, we find that the 12 point difference in scores comes from 2 things.
1. The Fakers missed 9 of their 20 free throws. This is on the Fakers and the Mavs cannot rely on poor Faker free throw shooting in the next game.
2. The Mavs made 6 more 3 pointers than the Fakers. Relying on the 3 point shot to win games in the playoffs is not a reliable strategy.
Of course other factors were at play that are not reflected in the box scores, and
the Mavs will win the series, but they must not become complacent.

Truer words were never spoken. We can't dismiss the Lakers I may despise them, but they are still the defending champions.

Game 3 is bigger than Game 2 was. We need to step on their throats and let them know they aren't getting back into this thing.

Ya what Ron did was stupid and he should be suspended. But honestly he was one of my favorite players in the entire NBA this year just because of what he did off the court. I really gained a lot of respect for him because of the mental health awareness he brought.

I will argue with you on #2. If the Lakers want to try and jack up as many threes as us we will win every game.

As always, it depends on the type of three.. If it's a three that's created from Dirk attacking the rim and kicking out, then that's absolutely fine. The Mavs did that repeatedly last night. If it's a forced three early in the shot clock..then no, you don't want that.

I think we might actually agree; Kobe is notorious this season for jacking up a ton of bad long jumpers. Anyway , what I meant is that relying on the 3 to win a playoff game is risky. So the Mavs cannot count on their own 3 point shooting to win.

I agree with you there... we have to get inside game to open the outside... but I'm extremely confident in our open jump shot ability for good reasons we all know.
I'm just saying for LA to win they can't be shooting 3's like they have... the Mavs will just simply out shoot them every time. We Have Kidd, Peja, Terry who are all top 8 all time in 3 pointers... and outside of that just about everybody can hit 3's. The Lakers need to go to the inside game because that is their game... but the Mavs zone right now is just messing them up big time and taking them away from their game.
