We don't need brooms we have Chucks patented round house kick.

I would like to see our boys in blue go the paint a little more today and not just settle for jumpers.

I don't want the Mavs to lose of course.... but if they do

How awesome would it be to end it in their building right after the fans start to believe again...

Mavs finish off the series.

Dirk scores 36 and grabs 12 rebounds as the Lakers watch in awe.
TC goes 10 and 10
Big Brendan Haywood scores 6 pts, grabs 7 boards and registers 5 blocks.

The Lakers simply have no answer for Dirk Nowitzki in this one. After trying everything short of Phil Jackson guarding him, Lamar Odom decides to put a hex on Dirk. Odom said after the game, "We tried everything and nothing was working, so I figured why not try a voodoo spell?" Voodoo didn't work either as Dirk scored 11 points in the final quarter.

Mavs 99
Lakers 90
"Experts" had no comment after the game as they were still searching for a way the Lakers could win the series.

If we lose today, I think we win in 6.... but waiting that long and hearing all the "comeback" predictions is going to be brutal.

Phil planning on getting rest early for Gasol so he doesn't melt into a whimpering mess in the 4th like he has for the past 3 games.

I am tired of hearing about how the Lakers can come back from being down 3-0. They wouldn't be saying that about any other team in the NBA. Just goes to show that the super smart experts still don't believe the Mavs are good enough.

That said, I'm wearing my Dirk jersey and the Mavs have never lost when I've worn it. The first time I wore it was game 7 between the Spurs and Mavs in '06.

Wait, you're telling me you never wore it during the Finals losses or Golden State series, when we needed a win?

Mavs contribution to pre-game consists of Kidd and Chandler saying "Happy Mother's Day." The rest of the discussion centered entirely on the Lakers and some unknown opponent that has them in a 0-3 hole.

It's a fine line.

So far I'm 7-0 these playoffs when I've won the Kidd jersey... so is it my fault for the 2 losses? Or did I save the mojo by saving it during a game where the Mavs might lose anyway.

It's been tough for me to juggle but I'm definitely wearing it today.

Indeed, it's a mighty fine line, but when you don't wear it for 3 straight Miami losses, you have to get whatever mojo you can out of it for game 6 back at home.

It's like the decision to start Cliff Lee in a game 6 rather than a game 7. Gotta first guarantee you live to see the game 7.

They just showed a commercial for the Green Lantern movie during the pregame show. So this lead to this question.

Q: What do Hal Jordan and Dirk have in common?

A: By the time the Green Lantern movie comes out they will both have rings.

Well I always felt if I wore it for all games then the mojo would run out. So I try to wear it in games where I think it's needed. Yeah, I probably overthink it, but I'm pretty superstitious haha. In fact, I haven't worn it for the past 2 games so this jersey is exploding with mojo.

I just can't decide if I think Stern will allow Phil to leave on a sweep or not. We're gonna have to play out of our minds and not rely on Pau fucking up.
