It does mean much more for a team or francise than an individual. It is a team accomplishment not an individual one. My point is that a great player should not have to cheapen himself by renting himself out in his decline just to aquire a ring.

That was a pretty uncalled for slam on S. Nash. It wasn't like he wanted to break the bank. The mavs just really didn't want to sign him. They wanted to free up the money to sign the great offensive post scoring threat Eric Dampier. Everyone in Nor Cal is still laughing at the mavs for that move.
