Just my opinion, but I could see Silver using Dallas to make an example out of:

If a harsh penalty drops, Cuban would totally turn this circus into a lawsuit

The good news is the current CBA only requires fines.

Cuban gets hit for a million or whatever

Mavs fans aren't hit with a lost pick.

I see that as a win. Cuban suffers and it starts turning him on Kidd. Mavs aren't hurt with a lost pick.

I could see it being 1 mil. He's been fined $600k for this already in 2018.

One of our local sports guys on the news last night said penalties could include losing their pick and even forcing Cuban to sell the team. He might be wrong but that was his analysis.

LMAO then this corrupt league would end. They are seriously run like mafia where it's cool to do anything shady and wrong as long as you don't announce it. That's insane.

Tampering, players sitting, and awful refs is a league problem that they refuse to resolve and just allow to happen.

Instead of just lowering the season to 70 games, they are doing something nobody wants with a dumb midseason tournament.

Kidd and Cuban are dumb, but let's not that the distract from the NBA pointing a finger right at itself with this crap.

Exactly. League had to make an immediate response and show of investigating because of our dumbass coach, but this will get swept under the rug along with MJ?s gambling, the Donaghy scandal, hell even the Mavs sexual assault allegations.
