When LaRussa(spelling?) got knocked over by that bat it was priceless. Everyone got a good laugh, expecailly when Bonds tried to put that chest-protector on him.

Giambi did the same thing in the Derby that McGwire did 2 years ago. He put on a great show in the first round, breaking McGwire's record of homeruns in a round with 14, but got knocked out by my main man Slammin' Sammy in the 2nd.

Yeah, that was one of the few(very few) bright spots. A-Rod letting Cal play short and then Cal hitting a homer. Then when they honored Tony and Cal. But other then that it was a rather bland All-Star game as always.

Yeah...if it hadn't been for Cal and Tony it really would have sucked. I hate to see them go...but I think they both hung on a little too long.

i loved seeing sammy lose in the homerun contest.
definitely great to see. well, it's going to be even better to see his ass not making the playoffs this year screw the cubs |
