I will attest to it. I was there and watched him do it. I was wondering why one time going to the hoop if he had dunked it, it wouldn't have gotten blocked.

Around 35% of his shots are from inside and only about 15% of those are assisted. If he's athletic enough to beat his man off the dribble that often, of course he can dunk.

Was it that Mavs Man dude? I can't watch video on my work computer--was there a trampoline at the free throw line?

Nobody doubts his athletism on the offensive side. He can score...but for every basket he makes, he will give up 2 baskets...as anyone can score on him.
He tries, he's like "Rudy"...but in the end, the rest of the league is simply too big and virtually score at will against him.
It sucks, after all I like seeing the little guy do good...but the league has caught up to him and he's no longer a novelty, but rather a liability.
Time to let the circus leave town and get down to real basketball business...after all, he isn't going to get any bigger, no matter how many extendz he takes...

as much as I love JJB's game ....
I think he does have some trade value as a 'throw in" to a much larger deal.

That is patently untrue. You can be quick enough to get around your man, but not athletic/tall enough to dunk. Earl Boykins. Steve Nash.

Earl Boykins is quite a bit shorter than jjb, and he can at least grab the rim (google boykins dunk, first picture).
Steve Nash? Seriously? He's a 6'3" NBA athlete.
E-MAIL OF THE NIGHT
I am 14 years old and have watched the Dallas Mavericks play for several years and have never seen Steve Nash dunk the ball. My dad says that any NBA player for the past 20 years could dunk the basketball -- he said a guy who was 5-foot-7 won the slam-dunk contest several years ago. I don't think my dad is right. Can Steve Nash and everyone else dunk the ball?
Peyton McGee

STEIN: Your dad is at least half right. Spud Webb, at 5-7, did win the dunk contest in 1986. But I feel pretty safe saying that Muggsy Bogues, at 5-3, could not dunk, and I'm not liking Earl Boykins' chances in Golden State at 5-5. As for Nash, I have seen him dunk the ball, but not in a game. It wasn't anything spectacular anyway. Who needs dunks from Nash? His trick layups are better than any dunk he could conceivably do.

JJB can reverse dunk, and by that I mean he can give the other team the ball for an easy dunk and freethrow. Isn't it great we let the mascot play. They're talking about letting the Maniacs have a shot at the center by committee position.

well, this jus made my night. not only the video, which is amazing, but the immense hatred i see continue for JJB hahaha
maybe hatred is too strong a word, but my point is, there are always neg comments made regarding him if anything is ever brought up about the lil man. hid D sucks, so does most of the players' D in this friggin league. if it will truly improve our team to trade him or throw him in a package, of course im not married to the idea of keepin him for years and years, because all i want is this team to do the best it can. but damn it, he can straight murder some players off the dribble, and he fun to watch at times.
all this dont mean he an MVP or crap like that. but he aint the 12th man either, no matter what team he's on or may end up on in the future. but after this HORRIBLE HORRIBLE streak that we are caught in (yeah, i know, a lil exaggerated, but damn it im pissed bout all these L's) this video is jus what i needed to put a smile on my face. thank you for that. and +rep to you mr skywalker
