These next 13 games Mavs have a chance to make up some ground towards a higher seed.

But you hate to see them sleep walking vs teams like Minnesota which allows them to stay in games and pull out wins.

This is why I questioned their consistency even doing this part of the schedule with lower teams to play.

Hopefully they get their act together because that 6th seed is within reach if they quit screwing around.

Yeah, super flat first half which you halfway expect. Nice to see KP show some life. He needs the small wins to get his head right and build momentum - take it however we can. Now here is to hoping we take the 2nd half seriously and get the win.

I know they aren't perfect but man you'd hate to see them squander a great chance to move up out of that play in seeding bracket because they let little games like this doing the season hold them back.

They need to start punishing teams like Minnesota and not give them any confidence because it can burn you late in the game.

I think the Lakers are going to take a hard fall without AD and LBJ and that's a small window opportunity for the Mavs to get that 6th seed by playing consistent b-ball over these next 13 games.

KP showing he's on KAT's level as a player they aren't that much different in terms of production.

KAT also has a tendency to be inconsistent not engaged enough.

Yeah he almost made me regret asking for him to come in.

Loved that lob play to Bey dude has really impressed me between the G-League and the few minutes he does get in the big league.

I know I'm in the minority here but I think KAT is kind of overrated.

He just seems dialed out too often IMO but the media doesn't really say much about it.

If he switched roles with KP and was in Dallas while shooting that many 3's or gave up some many layups I don't they would put up much fuss about it

i agree - very talented scorer no question but doesn't seem to elevate his team. Edwards looks like he's the real deal or at least has the potential to be.

KAT fills the stats sheet but always plays horrible defense on garbage teams. So i have no idea how he would look on an actual competent team.

In other news: This season he gets a pass from me. Im pretty sure he just wants the season to be over after all the terrible personal stuff
