Honestly? Moving on from KP might be addition by subtraction. His availability is inconsistent. His defense is hit or miss depending on how his knees are doing. And his game just doesn't complement Luka's. We need a roll man, not a big who's parked at half court.

He's 6/12 shooting and has 10 rebounds.

The only issue I see is sometimes they go long stretches without even passing him the ball.

He's getting more flack than a guy who has gone 0/7 (J.Rich) and seems to pull these types games twice a week now.

Mavs have a terrible record when Richardsin doesn't get to 10 points in a game.

I think they're confused. It's Carlisle's coaching that has them thinking he isn't a good fit for this team. I, personally, am a huge fan of KP. They just need to do something about Rick.

KP is scoring, but he's also a team low -12 (tied with J-Rich) and his man (Wood) has 20. KP is too weak/ unwilling to consistently play inside and too slow to consistently play on the perimeter (on both ends). I'm just sick of it.

Rockets have nothing to play for but look like the team trying to avoid the play-in. We're inconsistent as a whole because on offense too many guys individually are just horrendously inconsistent. Other than Brunson and Luka NO ONE can be relied upon to hit open shots. Way too many guys (J-Rich and KP especially) are in love with unnecessarily difficult looks. We're not doing shit in the playoffs.
