AJ's been talking cautious, and Stack has thus appeared to be completely recovered. Factor in that the Mavs are pretty well cemented into the 4th spot and have been playing well to boot, and I'm not too concerned that they're rushing him back before he's ready.

Add to that, Johnson said that Dampeir has been having several days pf great practices, so I doubt he's not 100% or close to 100%.

It will be interesting to see how long it takes Dampier to return to form after sitting out a while. For all the complaints that he is oft-injured, this is the first time in three seasons that he has missed significant time and then returned to play again. Two years ago he played the full 82, and last year he played all but the last eight games of the year.
Let's hope he doesn't take long to get back in game shape. |

Will he grab 26 boards? Probably not, but I know that I am not the only one who is squirming, just thinking about getting the whole team together for the first time in a while.

He looked solid tonight considering it was his first game back and he didn't even start. His minutes were pretty light, but he still managed to grab ten boards and get a couple of blocks. The man's just fine. In a few games he'll be playing heavy minutes and will be 3D again.
