YES. I drive a Civic, so even SUVs that park there annoy me.

I hate people who think that pocket knives are only carried by bad people and crazies. Knives and/or multi-tools with cutting edges are things that are good to have on your person for a variety of darned good reasons, and I say it doesn't make you a bad person if you happen to make a general habit of carrying one or both alongside your wallet, keys, and cellphone...

Which reminds me......... I hate cell phones. There, I said it. I hate phones in general, but cell phones are even more annoying. I'd rather just have a phone with internet and games on it with no line than a phone people can bother me at any time they'd like.

i take it you don't fly much...

i used to have a pretty sweet mini gerber multi-tool on my key chain, but when i got my new job and started flying more, i got sick of having to take it off my key chain every time i went to the airport (cause no way would i forget and let security take it!). so now it just sits at home... and i don't use it as much. I miss you, gerber!

My pocket knife ended up somewhere in the 300 level of the AAC about 4 years ago. Shame, really.

Attention office workers:

If you put that annoying little high priority red ! thing on your emails, I am not only going to NOT do what you want faster; I'm going to do it considerably slower than I would've otherwise.

Stop thinking you are so much more dang important than everyone else.

oh my goodness. I could not agree more! i hate that red exclamation point!

it definitely makes me want to not answer as fast. I respond much slower.

but i think could hate e-mail read receipts even more. I never agree to send a read receipt to people. i hate them.

Hmm. The exclamation point doesn't bother me, although I get very few of them. I barely notice them.

The popup asking for a read receipt however, annoys the hell out of me.

Before the 9-11 attacks I always carried knives on airplanes with no problems (If I had been on one of those flights I would have almost certainly had a razor sharp, two-edged Gerber Guardian boot knife on my person in addition to probably a Schrade LB7 and a Leatherman in my carry-on luggage). These days, you have to be careful taking even the smallest swiss army knife or innocuous multi-tool anywhere, lest legal problems ensue (you can't carry anything into a court or DPS, you can't carry anything in an airport, you can't carry any knife over 5 inches in blade length into a liquor store- even if you are hunting, etc... ). It's all stupid nanny state stuff that any average American male time-warped from the Nineteenth century to today would find both stupefying and preposterous...

yeah, it's not the exclamation point itself - it's the the idea that these douches think their e-mail is more important than everyone elses.

Hmm. Maybe it's because most of my high priority emails come from my director...meaning they actually tend to be high priority.

Why do people seem to think that the slow lane is on the LEFT side of the road? I love it when the slow people decide to pass someone and then proceed to take 2 miles to do it. I probably wouldn't have a problem if they were actually doing the SPEED LIMIT.

I'm starting to develop a severe case of road rage since starting my new job which requires a 35 mile trip to Orlando a few times a week.

Why don't people know how to drive? It's not that hard. ha

I hate opening up and trusting someone only to end up being screwed over. I hate that I trust people so easily.

I just signed an 18 month contract with Dish Network in November. I went with the America's Top 100 plan since it had all the channels I needed. Namely the major sports network including the NFL Network.

Well I just found out yesterday that, due to a dispute with the NFL over putting he Giants/Patriots game on network tv, that Dish Network has removed the NFL Network from my plan. I could upgrade to a more expensive plan but I refuse to reward them for what I view as breaking their contract with me. So now I'm stuck without the network right before the combine.

I'm thinking about calling to complain but what's the point of taking my frustration out on a call center rep who had absolutly nothing to do with the decision?

Anybody else affected by this or even care?

No, that sucks though, Dirno. And ironically, that isn't the Patriots-Giants game everyone will remember, as was originally thought. I'm on FIOS and they still have NFLNet.

But, I hate FIOS's billing. I'm on some one-bill thing which I thought would simplify everything. Instead, I have to wade through an asslong bill to figure out whether there are extra junk charges (and there are), and then I have to call to get those removed.

And read receipts. Hate them. Hate that some people have it as a default setting for their emails, so every email they send has a read receipt.

I actually had FIOS before going to Dish Network and you're right about the bill. At one point they arbitrarily changed my billing cycle and there were so many overcharges and credits that it took a 30 minute phone call to resolve. Which brings me to another point about FIOS. The customer service for the TV portion was horrible. Great HD signal though. I ultimately got rid of it because they didn't offer NBA TV or league pass. Now I have NBA TV but I'm losing the NFL network.

I've come to the conclusion that all content providers suck.

I am very satisfied with the customer service and billing from my content provider

(the content is a bit sketchy.... but really that is fine with me)

I don't understand the people who drive in the left-most lane during rush hour, only to refuse to use the gas pedal. I don't know if they are worried about using gas, hitting someone, or wearing out their brakes... but it pisses me off to be stuck behind them as they go 5 mph down the highway and the car in front of them is a mile ahead.

I hate when people say that we should respect other peoples' opinions when they don't even know the meaning of respecting others opinions. Or when the opinions that they want us to respect are ridiculous.

I love the golden throated one, but "massive quantums of authority" is very, very annoying. Stop using it.
