My favorite summer flick so far is probably Rush Hour 2. Though that may change after I watch American Pie 2 tonight I sill need to see Jurassic Park III, Scary Movie 2, and Planet of the Apes though.

That Angelina Joeli (spelling?) flick looks pretty good...if you know what I mean! I'm just 16 so I'll have to wait until one of my 17 year old friends can rent it.

I saw Rush Hour 2. It was really funny, and the leading lady is a BABE. I didn't see her on the previews, they could probably sell more tickets if they showed her underwear scene in the previews.

I know, I saw the preview of that film, and read what the several critics said.
they said it's one of the greatest movie ever ...
The director of this movie touched the film with an unique style ...
Where did you see that flick ? in a movie theatre or a video tape ?
It was made in 2000 ... but I can't get the video tape or something.
you know the main guy ?
Guy Pearce played the main role,
he was a fellow detective of Russell Crowe in LA Confidential.

i saw it in a movie theater in Philadelphia. i had time to kill before my flight left. I wanted to see crouching tiger, but it had already started, so I saw Memento. I hadn't even heard of it. but man, was it a good movie.

yeah, and guy pearce was in rules of engagement, too. he was actually pretty good in that.

There is a film out on video now that will change your life forever.
The Legend of Drunken Master is an unforgettable tribute to the human spirit... and to drunkeness. Its the greatest love story ever told. After seeing the film, one feels that they can accomplish anything in the world... as long as they have a few drinks of 100 proof liquor first. This movie will make even the hard core skeptics agree that booze is at the center of human existance. A masterpiece of filmmaking that every alchoholic must see. rent it now!

Isn't that a Jackie Chan movie? I saw one of his movies at Hastings yesterday and I remember that the title had something about drinking in it.

madape, did you really enjoyed the Jackie Chan's video ?
Zui quan (aka Story of Drunken Master (1978)),
Jui kuen II (aka Legend of Drunken Master (1994)),
Jui kuen and Zui quan are different English spellings,
but the same Chinese characters.
Jui kuen is the sequel of the Zui quan.
I think I saw that movie a dozen times ...
He just imitates lots of great actors including Terence Hill (my fav).
I said before, I'm sick of his movies ...

It was brilliant. I am not a big fan of Jackie Chan, but I really liked the Legend of Drunken Master. I'll have to check out the original.

Is Terence Hill a Chinese martial arts actor? His name doesn't indicate so.

Nah, not a martial artist
but a great swimmer(won bronze medal or something once),
can speak 4 or 5 different languages,
he's Italian, but his mom was German, he changed his name
as you know a typical Italian name is hard to memorize.

Do you know Macaroni Western Movies ?
The First guy of the Macaroni was Clint Eastwood,
and I think Hill is 2nd or 3rd guy ...
He was unique, he has very quick hands,
and he's ALWAYS smiling and ALWAYS made me smile.
He humiliated the enemy in a very funny way ...

Terence Hill was famous for his Trinity series,
Trinity this, Trinity that ... there're about 12 Trinity series
It began with Collina degli stivali, La (aka Trinity Rides Again (1969))
but the REAL Trinity series began with
Lo chiamavano Trinita (aka My Name is Trinity (1971)).
It was a Big hit in both Europe and Asia ...
I'm sure it influenced the acting style of several Asian actors.
and you can see the similarities between early Jackie Chan's movies and his.

but I've NEVER met a guy who had said
"Legend of Drunken Master is a masterpiece".
You're quite unique in that case.
you must be either still drunk or a Chinese guy ...
