I checked out that post at DMN's blog, he said ESPN reported it was for 800,000.....Being that Hunter is a 10 year + vet he should be getting 1.2 million. The Mavs would pay him 797,000 this year, with the league picking up about the other 400,000 or so.

Im not familiar with Hunter's game, but if his D is as good as everyone says it is, then I'm OK with this (pending that its true). If he isn't helping us score when he's on the court, at least he can be helping get some turnovers for some easy fast break points.

Has anything about Hunter been official yet?

I just saw on NBA tv that Salim Stoudamire got cut...didn't we have interest in him earlier in the summer? If Hunter isn't the guy, maybe it's him.
