TMac made a good point. It would be a tough sell for Nico and Cuban to look Luka in the eye and say hey we could?ve had a deal for Kyrie but just didn?t think it was worth it, but also trust us in the summer.

For Lukas sake it was the only big swing the Mavs could manage, and from that pov it needed to happen. Gonna miss Dorian, and I hope in some weird way he?s a maverick before the end of his career.

Mavs gotta push the rest of the chips in and get a defensive wing and a center. Would love to have Wood but I don?t see Cuban keeping him unless there?s just no good deals on the market for him.

Are You talking about trading Wood, whoever and a 1rnd pick for a Center, per se? Otherwise, how do you push all thr chips in and thrn let Wood loose?

Yeah I think Cuban tries to do what he can to get a center and/or wing defender which may come at the expense of Wood in a deal with the other stuff you mentioned.

Maybe we luck out and just keep Wood til the end of the season with no deal though. We need his size and limited defense and rebounding.
