Congrats Rangers All Stars
Hank Blalock is the most deserving All Star on the Rangers squad. Fortunately, the players voted him in on his play. He earned it and will be playing in the first of many All Star games. ARod got in on the vote on what has been a subpar year for him. He is posting nice numbers and his defense has been great.
I am going to credit Carl Everett here too. Even though he is now with the White Sox, Carl earned his all star nod in Ranger red. I seriously hope he plays out the year with the same production pace. The guy is the baseball equivalent of Van Exel. He plays with heart and was the perfect teammate in Texas. |

Congrats Rangers All Stars
Blalock is one of the reasons Rangers can be optimistic about their future.
In future, I also wanna see a pitcher from Rangers in the All-Star team.

you really would, wouldn't you. you would also think a team with such a high payroll would be doing better. but apparently it doesn't work that way.
