Beautiful... New York's honestly not a bad team, but they're plainly not up to the quality of us or Green Bay. The fact that their three losses are to us proves as much.

The camera zoomed into where they thought he was down, but then he was 5 yards further downfield. Haha.

There's the shockey sad face. Priceless.
Run the ball again and get the first, don't punt it. I'd like to see them kneel down for the end.

Yeah. They are "much improved." Right. They lost to the 'Boys and the Pack, and they have lost to the 'Boys again. They are the Packers of old. Good, but not good enough.

Which Manning? The one on the Giants or the one that just threw 4 INTs in the first half ;P

My first ever GDT = Victory. What can I say? I'm a natural D-Mavs poster.

Yea he's been having a good season. I don't think we've seen how good this defense can be yet until Newman and Henry become completely healthy. Phillips had big plans for Roy before our secondary got hurt and I don't believe we've seen those plans yet unless its to get burned by Jeremy Shockey lol.
Julius has been coming along these past 3 games. If he doesn't return I hope we have a speed back in mind to replace him. He could be resigned for cheap.

Well, GB's problem was their lack of a running game, and Ryan Grant (whoever that is) has been piling up yards lately...

Favre is the luckiest SOB in the league. Probably of all time. He gets away with so many throws its ridiculous. The Packers on offense is not what i'm worried about. Defensively they are young, athletic and talented.

Some quotes from NYSlimes..
Quote:
Much of that is attributable to Romo, who conceded that it took the Cowboys until the second half to decipher some of the exotic defensive looks the Giants threw at them. The Giants did not try anything exotic on the Cowboys’ second touchdown pass, just an all-out blitz that Romo recognized and audibled against. He hit Patrick Crayton for a 20-yard touchdown.
“We’re getting interesting stuff,” Romo said. “Part of that is because we’ve been so successful offensively and teams feel like they have to do something different.”
|
Quote:
Owens has said all season that he has a renewed focus and motivation, and on Sunday he said he was playing “stress-free football.” He caught six passes for 125 yards, but Romo cited all the invisible contributions that Owens makes, like when he draws double teams that free teammates. For all his inability to stay out of the spotlight — he waves a towel and draws a fine — Owens does seem to have happily settled into Dallas after a circus-like arrival last season.
A happy Owens is a dangerous one. He has had three straight 100-yard games. He says he visualizes how teams will try to cover him, and whatever he imagined Sam Madison would try to do, it must have made Owens giddy. On his first score, a 25-yard touchdown reception, Madison missed jamming Owens at the line of scrimmage, then tried to cover him. He had no shot, trailing Owens by at least 3 yards by the time the ball arrived.
“This is just to scratch the surface,” Owens said. “The way the guys are offensively game-planning, putting me in places to make plays, that’s all I ever wanted.”
It is all the Cowboys could have hoped for. Owens played for the Philadelphia Eagles when they last went to the Super Bowl, and he said the teams were comparable, because both have fun.
|
I like this one.
Quote:
Nobody seems to be having more fun than Romo. With a big contract and a twinkle in his eye, the quarterback who came from nowhere now finds himself in the unlikeliest of positions: managing expectations for a championship contender.
“I’m not into statement games,” Romo said. “We’re trying to get ourselves in position for the real fun stuff in January and February.”

I'd agree if it wasn't Bret Favre. That play yesterday when those two Vikings were tip the ball in the air and it lands right into the hand of a Packers reciever was ridiculous. And plays like that happen all the time for Favre.

Didn't he sign like a 1 year 2 million dollar deal? I'm not sure how the NFL's contract's work but I haven't heard any mention of him being resigned. He's playing good ball though.
