PARIS (Reuters) - France will initially provide only 200 extra troops for a new United Nations force in Lebanon, President Jacques Chirac said on Thursday, disappointing some U.N. officials who had hoped for a contribution of thousands.

I'm not sure what's more of a joke, the french or the UN. It's very close.

Definately a toss up. I'll go with the French, but it is a very hard decision.

The only thing I have seen the French show is the white flag that is painted on their backsides when they drop their drawers, bend over, and say "do as you will" - just don't hurt us.

Maybe they could only find 200 troops who actually have a set ? ? Like the # of licks to the center of the tootsie roll pop -- I guess the world may never know.

Once the Israelis settle the political turmoil they are in right now, and get rid of the labour party, it will not be long before they target the Hezbos again, so it will be easy for the 200 frenchies to exit quickly.
