GDT: Mavs @ Nuggets - 8PM Central
Mavericks-Nuggets Preview
An ongoing defensive decline has the Dallas Mavericks also plummeting in the standings.
With the losses continuing to mount, the reeling Mavericks attempt to reverse a lack of recent success in Denver in Monday night's increasingly important matchup with the Nuggets.
Blahblahblah
The Great Adventure returns to Mile High City tonight!

My prediction: McGee with a double double. Whether one stat is boards or turnovers is the essence of the great adventure!
Mavs 145
Nuggets 135

The Barea-Harris-Felton lineup goes for 90 points embarrassing the lowly Nuggets in their own arena.

The Dirk/Wes/Felton/Barea tandem will score 118 points, while the McGee/Mejri/Lee/Pachulia tandem will score 6 but grab 50 rebounds and block 8 shots... the Soft Nougats score 118... the Mavs leave behind a sour losing streak in route to ending the season in the sweet sixth spot in the West....
Mavs - 124
Soft Nougats - 118

@MFollowil: After missing last six games, Kenneth Faried will play for Denver tonight. Head coach Michael Malone says TBD if starting or off bench

An MRI revealed that Mavs point guard Deron Williams has a strained left groin and abdominal muscle. There is no timetable for his return. "We're going to try to get him better and go from there," coach Rick Carlisle said. "The hope is it's not serious."

Faried confirmed as starting. I would think Powell is on him, while Dirk covers the center.

More time for Justin Anderson. Rotate the centers right.

It seems like injured players from other teams always make their return against Dallas and proceed to have great games. Let's hope tonight isn't one of them.

Okay Powell starting center not the best option. But Mavs can recover just by rotating Mejri/McGee/Zaza. Either way find to what sticks.

With Powell you do start fast. But I've see Mejri match the same speed, just different.

This is some of the saddest basketball I've ever watched with the mavs. The complete disinterest.
Please get rid of kiss cams. Only adds to the depression

Can't help but feel like Simba and Powell are starting based on the fact that we had such shitty poor effort in yesterdays game. Maybe was hoping for energy to start the game and hopefully carry it through.

I'm ready for Deron to comeback. Devin has gotten too many minutes while he's in a slump..

Why Zaza? Since his slow down teams go to the hoop as soon as they see him.

Hm him subbing in for Powell seems to work so far. Zaza can bruise down low better perhaps.

Simba and Powell can't shoot, but their athleticism is helping on the boards and their quickness on defense.

Nice to see Anderson getting minutes. I don't like Powell starting, but I guess McGee must have killed Carlisle's dog or something. SMH

Some fortunate bounces for Denver ruined some decent defense by mavs.
