I'd like to see a lot more J.C. tonight!
Mayo needs to pick it up or he will fall in line with the rest of the below average starting SG's we have had around here for a loong time.

Hope Time Warner's programming is just incorrect because it says college football is on tonight on FSSW.

That roddy sure is a slow healer. Worse than devin was it appears.

It isn't that Roddy is a slow healer, it is more that he doesn't play through pain: ie not that tough. I wish I could find find the Draftexpress article where Givony (?) talks about him in his European spotlight at the International Camp.
Roddy has been like that long before he came to the Mavs. He is more of a wuss than a gamer.

Hopefully the ball moves better than a week ago. Guys should know how to spread the floor already and how to feed eachother.

I have Dish network and Leagus Pass, but I don't have Fox Sports SW. Any idea what channel I should look for this game on?

After missing the Mavericks' exhibition loss to FC Barcelona Regal last week, Nowitzki mentioned that he might need to undergo surgery if the swelling returns to the knee. He had the knee drained for a second time during training camp last week and practiced Friday and Saturday.
"He'll talk to you after the game," coach Rick Carlisle said, declining to comment further about Nowitzki.
Nowitzki participated in the Mavs' shootaround on Monday and originally planned to play against the Rockets. He was doing conditioning work on an elliptical machine about an hour before tip-off, after Carlisle announced that Nowitzki would not play.

Carlisle says since Dirk has practiced every day and went through shootaround today, he doesn't view this as a setback for the new guys.

Dirk is getting his conditioning in, nevertheless, on an elliptical machine in the locker room.

Um, "planned to play" until shortly before the game is a hell of a lot better than most alternatives. He's probably decided that he's going to have the procedure. Good. Get it out of the way, rehab up, and get back out there (hopefully in time for the opener, but no big deal if not).
Some of you guys worry too much, or otherwise have bizarre tendencies to immediately jump to horrible conclusions with little basis.

Living in Houston is suicide worthy by itself, but today I went to Fox Sports Houston to watch the little Mavs take on the punk ass Linsanities only to find out Comcast Sports Net has an exclusive deal with the Rockets, and Uverse ain't on the list.
Oh yeah, the Dirk thing too.

I wish the Mavs could have signed Asik along with Kaman.
West is so extra this preseason.

Houston can't get anything going inside with both Kaman and Brand underneath. They keep jacking up shots and missing from outside. Overall, the Mavs looking like they are starting to get comfortable playing with one another.

The new player i like most is/will be Dahntay Jones. So far he was very good, on both sides and on the bench, firing guys up.

Dahntay Jones looks like he'll be solid rotational player for the Mavs. I feel like he'll bring a little of what Deshawn Stevenson brought to the Mavs in a much more athletic body. He just now showed how he can attack the basket.
Crowder looking great on both sides of the ball. This kid needs to play somehow.

Crowder is my favorite new Mav. And I think by the end of the year he will be getting good quality minutes.
