Default Wizards Shopping Kwame Brown for S&T

Quote:
Hughes, the Wizards' starting off guard last season, agreed Friday to sign with the Cavaliers. Washington is inviting sign-and-trade offers for Brown, a restricted free agent, and will seek a shooting guard in return.

kinda paradox: the mavs probably wouldn't trade an undrafted SG for a PF who was the top pick just a few years ago...
Would you do it? What about the Wiz?

I think I would roll the dice on that. The Wiz would be getting back a very similar player to Hughes.

What does Kwame's contract look like price-wise? Does anyone know?

Nobody knows yet, but I'm sure his agent will be looking for a starting amount of at least the full MLE on the new deal.

If Fin stays, I'd do it. Quis may not get much PT behind Fin, Josh and Stack. If Fin's waived or traded as it seems likely, we need Quis at #2.
Nice paradox, indeed.

Edit: As for the Wiz, they might do it if we throw in a future pick. They just lost Hughes and Quis would plug in well.
