Default Artest to Dallas trade for Finley.

How about this trade scenrios:

Dallas give up:
Finley
Harris

Indy give up:
Artest
Croshere
Bender

I think this is a fair trade for both team.
We have to give up Harris which is a potenial lost.
But we gain a an All-Star in Artest,
Plus we get back 2 expiring contract in Croshere and Bender.

I put it through real GM and it works.

Not interested. i like Artest, but you cant give up your point guard of the future. I'd rather build by bringing in young defenders as avery is doing. The only way i would trade Harris is for a good young big man.

Great idea, ARtest is a top 20 player in this league and young!!!!! We get a big, and we can then sign Antonio Daniels with the mid-level exception for a point guard to replace Devin.

Lineup
Antonio Daniels/Terry
Artest/Stackhouse/Marquis
Howard/Artest/Vanhorn
Dirk/Van Horn/Croshere
Damp/Croshere/Pavel

Two big time allstars in Dirk and Artes, great defense from Howard, Artest and Damp, toughness up front.......playoff experience at the point and a defensive point guard (Daniels) that Avery likes.......What a great lineup!!!!! I'd do it in a minute

I agree on this if this trade goes through and and we get Antonio Daniels to replace harris. We are a stronger team and would be a favorite to be in the NBA final.
Artest could shut down Manu G. and daniels can stop parker. We would have a really good chance at beating the Spurs.

why the hell would indiana give up bender and artest for finley an harris. harris has done nothing and finley is OLD. I like the pacers and i will be upset if they did do a deal like that. They can get more for artest.

Indy might do it because they want to get under the salary cap, and out from under the Artest problems.
They would require Josh Howard in return though. I don't think they would do it without Howard, Finley, and Stackhouse/Daniels. I don't see them interested in another PG.

Now if they could get Howard and Stack/Daniels and then cut Fin which would put them below the luxury tax level, then maybe they would move those three. I still doubt it though because they would still need an athletic big to run with JO -- Presumably one that could defend massively, and hit the outside shot.

Indy would have Tinsley and AJohnson at the PG. They would have Jackson, Howard, Daniels/Stack, and Jones at swingman, and Foster, Pollard, Harrison to help JO. Not too shabby at all. IMO, top 4 in the east - with Detroit, Miami, and Cleveland.

Dallas would have Harris, Terry, (Stack/Daniels), Artest, KVH, Dirk, Damp, with Bender, and Croshere. Not too shabby either, especially if you could get 10-15 min a night out of PPod/DJ. Bradley hopefully ends up on injury settlement, TAW gone since he is on injury settlement retro. KVH is traded, or comes off the books next year, if Bender can develop into Dirk's backup. If not, then Bender is traded, and KVH is resigned. Croshere might be cut up front or might play a role behind Dirk/Damp.

I could see how a trade like this might help both teams. Championship for Dallas would depend on Artest again though.

i would like not to trade howard. He is improving every year. Look how good he is after only 2 seasons. He will become an all-star real soon.

I really like artest, but i don't like him enough to give up josh.
