DAL/IND/MEMP
Indiana trades: Bender,Pollard
receives: Finley, 3 mil from Dallas Memphis trades: Wells receives: Bender, Dallas 1st rounder Dallas trades: Fin, 1st rounder, 3 mil receives: Wells, Pollard WHY? Indiana gets a shooter for title run, but adds salary. They might want more. Or to give up more salary (Croshere). Memphis gets someone to try and replace Swift, and a decent pick, for someone not in their plans Dallas gets Finley replacement, and some salary help in the future. They are trading a lot , so they'd really have to want the relief and Wells This hinges on the Pacers thinking Fin will propel them to Finals, and Dallas wanting Wells. Also, there might be problems if Wells and Stack are on the same team.

IMO, eliminate Memphis from the trade and move Fin + 3M to Indy for Bender and Pollard. Then just start the season, and see what happens.

Considering your reasoning, he will "most probably" be anything BUT a Clipper. Hoopshype is extremely unreliable. |
