they want to get rid of Anderson like the plague, and Bradley, even though I love him, won't play...Thomas solidifies the backup PF role, and can play center and SF if called on. it's obvious now that Pavel isn't going to play at all, and New York would welcome all the help at center they can get. this might be a nice trade at the deadline. but bleh, passing time.

That's too much to give. Thomas is only a 10 minutes per game back up power forward on the Mavs, and Shandon Anderson, given his contract, has negative value. Pavel is real big and might (or might not) turn out to be a useful player. Stackhouse is valuable. This is really just Bradley for Thomas, with other stuff thrown in to balance the salaries. But I think Bradley is worth Thomas in value.

i wouldnt do either trade. Why do we need KT? We have booth and Henderson to fill the 10 minutes when dirk isnt in the game, that is more than enough. And to give up on Pavel this early could be a big mistake.

If Bradley is really now the 4th string center, I don't mind doing the second deal. KT would be the backup PF and also a decent insurance in case of a Dirk injury. Anderson could easily replace the loss of Dickau on the IR list.

More importantly, we get rid of that eternal cancer in TAW.
