i wonder if he gets free shoes from nike or whatever....i think that would be one sweet part of be a pro athlete. all the free under armour and workout gear and shoes and stuff..

I don't know how to feel...I want the Rockies to have a shot, but at least if the Red Sox finish it out in Colorado, there is a less likely chance the riots will affect, or threaten, my life.

I'm a Red Sox fan. It came out of my absolute hate for the Yankees and seeing them lose to them every year (sorta reminds me of say The Mavs as related to the Spurs) So I'm not bailing on the Red Sox now that they're winning. Although I agree Red Sox Nation is annoying as hell.

I feel like it would go against a lot of my sports fan principles to jump on the Sox bandwagon just b/c I'm in Boston. I admire their passion & I have been to Fenway & the atmosphere is truly amazing & unlike anything you will ever see in the Ballpark, but Red Sox Nation as a whole is just inconveniencing my life right now. I'd like them to win tonight b/c I don't plan on leaving the apartment so I'll probably not get killed in a riot.
(PS: You might think I'm kidding when I keep saying that, but just remember, someone from my school was killed when they won in '04...)
