Dallas' tough playoff team schedule
3/19-Nuggets
3/21-Lakers
3/23-Spurs
3/24&27-Rockets
3/29-Heat
3/30-Magic
They seem to be coming back from their terrible streak but they had bad streak at the beginning of the season, came back, then fell into a slump again so it's hard to say that this good streak is permanent although i'd like to think it is. So how do you think they'll do against these upcoming teams and more importantly do you think we're finally getting back to what it takes to beat Miami?

These games are not going to be easy with Delonte, Big Wood, and Matrix out. I'm not sure how long Matrix is out for though but with these games Wood and Delonte are a must.
But the thing is with the way our guys stepped up tonight against the Spurs I feel like we can handle whatever comes our way as long as we play Maverick basketball and don't let the opposing team control our style. We can beat any team as long as we stay grounded during crunch time and play smart basketball to keep us in the game in order to even have crunch time.
Tonight provided a much needed confidence group to our bunch and I can't wait to see wait to see how LO and Roddy develop over these games. Roddy has been playing some solid basketball of late and LO is slowly getting there. LO's passing game has improved and like UD mentioned in the PGT Spurs thread it's only a matter of time before his shots drop. With JET I really hope he can get his head in the game. This guy can be so amazing at times and other times just makes so incredible bond headed plays. Sometimes it's a toss up which version of JET you're gonna get.
With Wood, Delonte, and possibly Marion out, we're gonna be looking to see how RC will handle all this which IMO will be a key factor in all this (I'm not sure about Cardinal starting the 4th.. that one still baffles me).

I feel like we should win the first 2 easily and then against the Spurs is iffy despite the win tonight. Obviously we should be the Rockets then i think the Heat (especially in Miami) and Orlando will be really tough for us right now but then again if the whole team is playing how they should then it will be an easy streak. I'd say 5-7 or 6-7

3/19-Nuggets
3/21-Lakers
3/23-Spurs
3/24&27-Rockets
We have to win those games, to step up in West standings.
3/29-Heat
3/30-Magic
Care less about this games, but would be good to beat Cheats after big blow at the begin of season, and show Dwight he made bad decision.
So, 7-0, Do it.

Yeah, the losses against the Lakers, Spurs, and the Heat were really embarrassing, still, a L is a L. We know we can be better than that, the question, can we put it together until the playoffs. I really, really want the 4th place. Too bad the Floppers won 4 in a row, the news is the refs swallowed their whistle in the last seconds of last night's game, when a Clipper player clearly fouled Matthews. Ahhhhhh! We absolutely have to win the game against them on monday.

Considering our starting center was out for the majority of those games, I'd say we did great. Now he's back and so is Delonte. I like our chances.

Yeah, but they really have to get back to their early season defense. Not having Delonte and Wood is a factor, but not an excuse for the drop-off since the All-Star Weekend.

If the mavs are back like i think they are...9-4 seems very legit at this point.
IF everyone stays healthy. Im looking at you Lamar Odom.

The return of Delonte West could have the same impact on this team as benching Roddy and starting Deshawn Stevenson did at the end of last season. As much as I love and hope for Roddy to fulfill his pontential, the Mavs need a steady had at the guard spot. Delonte is every bit as tough a defender as D-Steve, and a much better ball handler and shooter. Just one less turnover and one less defensive mistake can make a huge difference in a tight game. There is a good chance this Mavs team could really jell with West back. Roddy can fall into a JJB type change of pace, energy guy. And with West back, Kidd will get plenty of rest for the playoff run.
After the 4th quarter against Orlando, I feel better about this MAvs team than at any time this season. Now boys, go make me look smart and win some road games!

I'm worried about Delontes finger though, it seemed to have an effect on his ball handling since he came back, although i'm sure he'll get himself togther.

I'm going with 10-3. Mavs lose to the Lakers, Grizzlies (away), and Chicago. They finish the season with 40 wins and the fourth seed. It comes down to rebounding and I believe the effort will be there down the stretch and into the playoffs.

The effect might be ...positive. Less dribbling and more passing. ...at least this is what i saw in the last two games.

We better throw in a few more losses for them in april after another s****y loss by almost 20. It's unbelievable, there aren't any excuses for them at this point. Mavs are still a great team imo. I'm fine with losses but these huge losses don't make any sense.
