It is being reported as breaking news right now that the second US hostage was murdered by the cowards that held him. F*cking cowards. There is no justification for this so don't event try it.

The guy behind most or all of these beheadings is a Jordanian terrorist, not an Iraqi "insurgent."

Where IS the outrage over all of the beheadings and bombings being perpetrated by foreign terrorists on Iraqi soil?

If it were up to me, our military would do whatever was necessary to find these cowardly, barbaric thugs and they would suddenly...disappear.

This will never stop until you make the punishment a higher price than they are willing to pay. Since they have no care about their own lives, then that makes increasing the punishment for actions like this very hard to put into action. It can be done though.

It's been scientifically proven that if you kill the SOB's then they can't keep doing this. The secret is to kill all of them before they can breed sort of like rats and cockroaches.

Killing them makes martyrs of them, and breeds more because they believe that they are going to some nirvana, if they die this way. Think bigger, you need to up the punishment to resolve the issue, and make the being good a benefit. It is just like training any animal, including children: you make doing "right" a good thing and you help them, and you make doing wrong a bad thing that comes with a heavy punishment.

In this case the punishment would have to be pretty severe to get them to stop. Something larger than the loss of their own lives.

During the Phillippine Insurrection in 1911, General John J. "Black Jack" Pershing was dealing with numerous Islamic terrorist attacks. He captured a group of terrorists, forced them to dig their own graves, and then the terrorists were all tied to posts, execution style. The US soldiers then brought in pigs and slaughtered them, rubbing their bullets in the blood and fat. Thus, the terrorists were terrorized; they saw that they would be contaminated with hogs' blood. This would mean that they could not enter Heaven, even if they died as terrorist martyrs.

All but one was shot, their bodies dumped into the grave, and the hog guts dumped atop the bodies. The lone survivor was allowed to escape back to the terrorist camp and tell his brethren what happened to the others. This brought a stop to terrorism in the Philippines for the next 50 years.

When the terrorists start playing by the rules, then maybe I'll give half a crap what the UN thinks. Kiki, we all want these animals killed. But we can't make it so easy for them to commit these horrible acts. If we reduce the amount of targets, don't you think that it might, just might, make them have to expose themselves to our defenses?

No. I think it would make the reconstruction of Iraq more difficult, and would allow them to maintain a toehold from which to continue their murders of innocent civilians. More troops, not fewer. More executions, not fewer. Sooner, not later. Quieter, not louder.
