Suggestion... on the board
I like the idea of adding a trade and draft category. How about adding a game day thread category? That's so we can see the game day threads on one page? Its just a suggestion.

RE:Suggestion... on the board
Simon this sort of topic more apporpriately belongs in the Dallas-Mavs.Com Stuff forum. That's where all the suggestions about changes to the board can be posted and discussed. I'm moving it there now.

RE:Suggestion... on the board
Simon, great suggestion... we would have to get more games in there to do that though. Not just Mavs and Cowboy games, but Stars games, and nationally televised games of NBA.

RE:Suggestion... on the board
i would think that'd limit the traffic in the main forum a bit too much

RE:Suggestion... on the board
I put this in the "Walker . . . sucks" thread.
Create one thread for each of the big 5, similar to the Stickman thread for Bradley. This will reduce the number of different threads to wade through. Take it or leave it mods.

My opinion is that the less "forums" the better. I don't want to have to scroll down through Forums, that would be insane.

So you think the 1 thread per forum is a bad idea?

I guess limiting it would be too much to ask.

RE:Suggestion... on the board
I think DJ and all of you mods do a great job of maintaining this forum. Thanks!
Just recently I joined the Philosophy Forums and I think they have some great functions that would be nice to have on D-M.com as well.
I especially like the 'go to last post' button and the 'shout box'.
also, they show the first few lines of each thread-opening when you move your cursor over the topic

RE: Suggestion... on the board
Undoubtedly, Fusetalk is among the best forum software programs in the market. I tried to make contact with them to buy a license for a page that I am building, but it seems they didn't have time to answer my questions and never replied.
I have tried some other programs and, although they don't have some of the nice features of FT, at least their personnel has listened to me....and most of them are way cheaper. Not to mention more fast.
