My favorite bar is the
Osbornes in Hamburg / Germany
Outside
The owner is Hermann (65) from Berlin. He offeres Guiness for 3,20 a pint and bottled/or tapped for 1,80 €. Longdrinks sell ~ 3,20 or 3,50 means you´ll get a full glas of Vodka and a bottle Schweppes. That´s the reason why many guys from England stop by for drinking, when they head back home from a road game.
About 100 fan scarfs ar pinned on the ceiling.
Typical scene
And that is the owner.

Theme: Sports Watching
This is an interesting little sports bar on Friedrichstrasse just off the Reeperbahn close to the red light area. It’s a bit dark and dingy but has plenty of character, the main character being the ZZ Top lookalike owner (Hermann Osborne) who remarkably was running a packed bar on his own including delivering drinks to tables. There is a table football game that seemed very popular and the ceiling of the bar was festooned with football scarves from visiting teams. Good place for a no nonsense beer and to meet some interesting sport-minded locals.
