I just think he needs a veteran player to assume those responsibilities.

He's not going to be Giannis as a young leader, but my point is he doesn't have to be if they get a veteran guy to assume that role.

Obviously, it has to be a veteran who can also play though

Unfortunately you are correct. He needs vet guys around him to bring leadership.
