When I said I didn't like the "feel" to this game I didn't know Howard was going to be out.

This is one of those days where common sense has got to kick in....yet, it doesn't.

Dirk was on fire...he's 3-3 for 9 points. But guess what? He can't even get touches on the offensive end. Why? Because the Mavs are too busy trying to get EVERYONE ELSE going on the offensive end. Hello!!! Am I missing something here? Dear God, mix in a little common sense. You can't let the damn game slip away because you want Fin to get going. Let him get going next game.... Right now, take advantage of the Clippers inability to guard Dirk.

Let's just hope to hell that he hasn't cooled off while the Mavs froze him out of the game.

Defense has got to stay constant. Dallas can't let up defensively. If they contest shots and rebound, they will win.
