I think this movie looks awesome! It's wierd--it's kinda like Titanic--you know it's going to awe you and it's about a sad piece of history. I mean, how can you say a movie about the bombing of Pearl Harbor is going to be awesome?
Plus, I have no problem looking at Ben Affleck

It looks like a piece of shit. I heard the war scene was awesome, but the rest of the movie is a waste of time.

Yeah, that's what I heard too. The war scene last like 40 minutes and the other 2 1/2 hours is a big love fest. Atleast that's what I heard. I not going to see it anyways though, so I could care less .

I'll wait for the DVD and watch it on the big screen. I'm so lazy.

I didn't get out to see it this weekend but I've heard nothing but bad reviews about it. Too long and not enough action...too much focus on the love story...Sounds boring to me.

the love story part was ok. that part of the movie wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. yes, the love story part was a bit too long and ben affleck was pretty bad in that part of the movie (more because of some very poor dialogue).
the action, well, if you can say watching a few thousand U.S. people dying at pearl harbor was exhilirating, then i guess the action was exhilirating.
but, to be truthful, it was rather moving...horrific even.
i definitely recommend people seeing it just so that we could see how lucky we truly are.

I don't know why but I really have no interest in seeing the movie. I guess I'm just getting a little tired of overly dramatic Bruckheimer films.

i agree to an extent, the movie would have been crappy without the action.
but the pearl harbor part was actually moving. they did a good job on that part of the movie.
after the bombing of pearl harbor, the movie should have just ended.

Man guys...I liked the movie, but it was way too long. I'm also dissapointed that Cuba Gooding Jr. had such a small role.
