Default Inside and Out

Lets face it. Duck really stinks inside and cannot shoot against good defenders and *cannot post. He should really stick to the perimiter where hell be the most effective. I don't know why everyone is passing to duck when he's near the bucket. It's counterproductive. (Pass it to Stack dammit). On the other foot, Pau Gasol would be a really nise addition to the team @SF. Yeh our defense will stink, but who cares. Its not like we have Duck in the middle.

And don't forget our passing and ball movement really stinks. You know why? Its because of Duck. 100%. Moving Duck to the outside, where he will just *SIT all the time will REALLY help our passing.

And to the center. Eric Dampier was never the center that we expected and will never be. His trade value will only decline. It is time to trade. Last season we wated too long to trade Jamison and Walker and we ended up getting crappy deals.

The time is NOW! Dammit!

Firstly, you mixed up Memphis and New Orleans (honest mistake).

Secondly, Dallas is the only beneficiary in these trades. Look at the change in team outlook and other than Houston, Memphis and New Orleans actually drop in production.

Thirdly, Houston is looking for a point guard, and not an aging power forward (as much as I like PJ Brown). Houston would never do this trade.

So, though Dallas might benefit from this trade (and even that can be questioned), I doubt that Memphis, New Orleans and Houston would pull the trigger.

Not a well thought out trade in any form or fashion.

First of all, I know it doesn't work but
Houston receives a tough defensive minded player.
Memphes receives a center that they'd alwis been looking for.
And orleans does it to get rid of Jamal Mashburn.

-I expected this in a dallas mavs forum. People always looking at point and not the underlying player.
I don't blame you. Its hard to listen to nelson and prevent yourself from becoming nesonized.

we're all just mesmerized by Nelson's genius and that's why we don't like the trade.

I don't care what you guys think.
But Pau Gasol and Jamaal Magloire are two players I would like to have on the team and I think that they are both key to the mavs game.
The team at present is too one-dimensional. And all the other trades that I see just add to that!

My belief is that if we could get Pau to shoot around 50% +/- 4 deviations inside the paint and Duck to shoot around 43% +/- 3 deviations outside the arc, the mavs would win a majority of the games, even if they played subpar defense. The key to Duck's game (considering that he is a shooter) is how Duck is shooting outside the arc and not inside. Since Nelson is running the offense through Duck, the indicator of how well Duck is doing and Nelson's game plan is not his FG%, but his 3-pt%.
