RE:How about this trade?
Why the hell would GS trade for Fortson who they were happy to trade away? Just because RealGM works doesn't make it a reasonable scenario.
None of those are realistic imho otherwise. GS isn't likely to be looking to move Dampier and I doubt we would be a good trade partner with them again for a while.

RE: How about this trade?
Why are you being so harsh?
With the exception of the Fortson trade, the other ones sound reasonable. For those that don't know Dampier's tendencies, he's a streaky player. He can play good at times, but can also disappear at times, much like Bradley.
I like the first trade, but i doubt they'd take Wahad. Wahad could fit in well there, but they'd never take a contract like that for a bench player.

RE:How about this trade?
Anyone who thinks GS is going to make another trade with Dallas this year is sadly mistaken. It won't happen.
And for the harsh thing....how freaking hard is it to look around the forums before posting? It is not a lot to ask. This trade forum is a great idea and is designed to unclutter the Mavs forum. Threads like this are meant for this forum, not the other.

RE: How about this trade?
Well, that was the poster's third post, so it could be a possibility that he/she didn't see this forum, or didn't know where to put thread.
And i'm not saying that the trade is or isn't going to happen, but these are just trade possibilites, Not rumors that's already flying around.
What i'm trying to say is you shouldn't be so harsh b/c it's not that serious.

RE:How about this trade?
Understand your point the Nash......
But is it too much to ask that newbies take a few minutes to familiarize themselves with the baord BEFORE posting? I think not. There was a thread about this stickied to the top of the Mavs forum at one point stating the same thing.

RE:How about this trade?
sbibi...just take this as a rough way to learn the ropes...make sure that you think through all that you propose before hitting the reply button and especially before you start a new thread!....if you think it through, you will do fine...but too much of this and you will make the "ole grumps" angry...and then the funny guys will start making fun, and then even the spare guys will jump on top of the dog pile....so please, just think it all through.....
as for the trade, no way that GS is going to trade ED for what may be considered by some as junk, he is having a great year....they know they need him!

I wouldn't want to trade Bradley for Dampier which is what you are trying to do. Personally, I like the 7'6 Bradley creating havoc in the lane for the Mavs.

RE:How about this trade?
I follow the Warriors and even without reading the article highlighting Dampier it was obvious to me that he was carrying the team. 12.7ppg, 14.1rpg and 1.69 bpg in 35mpg.
GS also dropped Jamison who is a much larger talent to get rid of Fortson and his S.A.C.
