Rebounds, down low help. Clippers had 14 offensive rebounds.

Shooting 47% from 3 covers up those things. Almost a guarantee Mavs aren’t hitting that in game 2.

It was only 4 minutes.

Yes, so....Mavs won, have things they can definitely improve on, and KP didn't contribute much at all.

If I were a Clippers fan, I'd be concerned. Yes, Mavs likely won't shoot 3 as well...but then likely won't box out as poorly, or rebound as poorly, or have KP play as poorly either.

It was only 4 minutes.

I know it was only 4 minutes, but WCS also had 0 rebounds in those 4 mins. Zubac had 3 in 19 min and Ibaka had 4 in 12 min, so it’s not as though their bigs killed us on the boards. We also out rebounded LAC 42 to 39. Agreed though that our 3 pt shooting covered up some things.

I get why you say that, but we don't have to live and die by the three. Cut down our turnovers and their second chance opportunities and continue to close out hard on the three point line and our defense (!!!) can win us this series.
