Rockets, Maurice Taylor reach verbal agreement, sources say
Associated Press HOUSTON (AP) _ The Houston Rockets and free-agent forward Maurice Taylor have agreed to a new contract, sources told a Houston television station on Sunday. KRIV reported the contract was for six years and worth $48 million. Taylor averaged 13 points and more than 5 rebounds a game last year. He signed a one-year contract with the Rockets last year after three years with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Hey Murph!
Take a look - there´s a starting PF even WORSE than Juwan getting a new contract worth much - if you take this into consideration juwan´s worth at least 12 mills a year (150% money because he´s delivering about 150% in numbers - would you mind signing juwan to a 5 year/60 mills contract? maybe houston needs that kind of guys ... i wouldn't pay juwan 5 years 60 million..no way
he's too much of a one dimensional player.. he's a top 10 scoring pf, but rebounding and defensively, he's not a top 25 collectively in those two categories. i'd give him 7 or 8.. |
