Damp has done a good job on Yao historically and so have smaller guys....like Eddie....but Damp does a good job with muscle... Don then did his AJ impersonation....that dude is a freak....funny has heck. I missed much of the interview....did anyone hear the entire thing who would be willing to give a more thorough recap?

The 1st five minutes of the interview was just Norm fluff.
He did point out that Dirk's job could be made easier by the fact that JVG doesn't like to double team.

Those are pretty much the highlights. The only other thing he mentioned was how he believes Houston will defend Dirk.
He pointed out how switching out on the pick and pops to prevent Dirk from getting an open jump shot have limited him in the past. He believes that is what Houston will be do against Dirk. I have noticed more teams forcing Dirk to dribble the ball more. It will be a challenge for Dirk to dribble drive and find the open man on the dribble rather than while standing still. The one skill he hasn't quite mastered on the offensive end, I might add. Other than that, it was a pretty typical interview. |
