So who do the Mavs chase during the off season? There are a lot of rumblings about chasing Keon Clark here, but I don't think the exception is enough to nab him.
Who would you like to see the Mavs get? |

Kandi if at all possible, but I think LA would match. Keon Clark will not take the full exception IMO. He is someone I would like to see pursued.

I like Jerome James, Matt Harpring, Lee Nailon, Malik Rose and of course Keon Clark. I wouldnt mind taking Kandi either but the Clipps know what he means if they want to make a run and I think the Clippers owner is gonna fall out of his shell and sign Kandi for more than the exception.

Malike Rose or Clark would be who I would go for.. I say Rose before Clark believe it or not..

malik rose would be a nice pick up... clark is a good shot blocker but doesn't offer much else defensively....

There is no way in hell Kandi signs for the exception, and I seriously doubt Clark would either.

which is why i've been pushing for the thomas-ward trade..
sure, picking up kandi would be nice and would put an end to the thomas-ward trade talk..but is that realistic?..in all likeliness..probably not. and i don't think clark is necessarily the answer to the mavs needs. they already have a good shotblocker or two on the team.. they need a solid man to man defender |
